Engagis worked with Sheridan designers and digital strategists to build a system of 40 inch fixed touchscreens across the Sheridan network of stores and within the Myer department store. Staff and sales reps use this endless aisle solution to demonstrate the company’s complete product line, in one easy to use portal. Engagis also connected the system to iPad, which allows sales reps to freely roam Sheridan, and Sheridan stocked Myer stores, to demonstrate products.
The Sheridan Product Finder design uses an intuitive browse and filter interface which allows self-assisted and staff-assisted service, empowering customers to find the right product for them, quickly and easily. Once the right product has been selected, the solution provides full product details and specifications, including images and related products.
Behind the scenes, the HTML5 interface ensures a seamless user experience, regardless of whether staff and clients used the touchscreen or tablet. It also enables cross-platform development of mirroring software that allows sales reps to remotely control the larger touch-screen from the iPad.
Engagis still works with Sheridan today, to ensure the Sheridan Product Finder continues to deliver results and meet their requirements. Even Sheridan staff have gotten on board, sharing with us that “sales reps and customers can now browse the entire Sheridan catalogue rapidly, and filter by range, style, fabric and colour”.
