We talk to the owner of Sydney institution, Tropicana Caffe to ask why he chose Engagis for his restaurant digital signage solution.
What prompted you to go digital? When they changed the rules that we had to show the full price with the 10% public holiday surcharge, we had to change the price manually every time. It was about a two or three hour job. I always wanted to fix the menus up, and that was the biggest reason I went to a digital menu board. Cutting this admin time for staff allowed them to focus on more important job of servicing customers.
How has it worked out? At first it was a little daunting but soon after we noticed that the sales of our items really improved. It’s so much easier to put a new item on the menu. It’s so much easier to change an item, and it looks much more professional.
